Isobutane (C4H10) is a colorless, odorless, flammable gas used extensively across petrochemical, refrigeration, and aerosol industries. It is a structural isomer of n-butane, sharing the same molecular formula but differing in atom arrangement, which gives it unique physical and performance properties. Unlike some refrigerants, isobutane does not contribute to ozone depletion and has a comparatively low global warming potential.

Applications include:
