Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a flammable, highly toxic, colorless gas with a characteristic odor of rotten eggs at low concentrations. It is shipped as a liquefied gas and is both poisonous and corrosive. H2S occurs naturally in crude petroleum, natural gas, volcanic gases, and hot springs, and is also a byproduct of certain industrial processes.

Material compatibility:
